Here at Richardson’s Sawmill we are pleased to supply timber to:-

We hold a large variety of timber in stock, including Yew, Walnut, Oak, Ash and Beech, all home grown, cut ‘through & through and in stick’, in various stages of air-dry.
We pride ourselves on the fact that the timber we process is all ‘Home Grown’, meaning that it has been grown in the UK and is from sustainable sources. For us, this is of uppermost importance as so many other sawmills have actually stopped the traditional sawing and rely on imported timber.
We specialise in English Oak & Douglas Fir which are two extremely good timbers for many projects including building renovation, outdoor building construction as well as fencing and bespoke cladding.
If you have a tree that you are looking to sell, we are always prepared to pay fair prices for all species of hardwood, i.e. Yew, Ash, Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Holly etc, other species also considered.
We can also process any timber trunks you may have and wish to use yourself.
Firewood
We process in excess of 1500 tonnes of firewood each year. We sell ‘ready to burn’ wood, in either air dried or kiln dried form, half or full load and we offer free local delivery.
We always have bags of kiln dried logs, kindling & firelighters available to buy at the yard, as well as a local delivery service for a minimum order. You can also collect, just call in and we can help you load up as many as you need.
Much of Richardson’s Sawmill work revolves around the traditional building work:- Barn conversions, Timber framed houses and renovation work.
